Dedicated
to Goddess Durga, Jhooladevi is an old temple 7 km away from Ranikhet on the
way to Chaubatia. One of the most fascinating features of the temple is the
cluster of bells one can hear echoing from a distance. Devotees visit and tie
these bells when their wishes are granted by the goddess. Nearby is a temple
dedicated to Lord Ram.
