The reasons given for the Iraq war were: 1) Iraq brutalized their own people. 2) Iraq flouted UN restrictions on weapons programs. 3) Iraq funds and trains terrorists. 4) Iraq might supply WMDs to terrorists. 5) Iraq is a threat to its neighbors. These were all TRUE. The invasion was the culmination of a 15-year buildup encompassing 3 presidencies and 8 Congresses. Knock of the brainless sound bites and learn a little history, willya?
